Managing a Crisis: an Interview with the Penn State Alumni Association’s Executive Director

On November 4, 2011, former Penn State coach Jerry Sandusky was charged with multiple counts of child sex abuse. The Penn State Alumni Association faced the crisis head on as alumni responded to the news.

BWF interviewed Roger Williams, executive director of the alumni association, to find out how the association has managed the crisis and dealt with the loss of Penn State’s iconic coach and ambassador, Joe Paterno.

Note: this interview was recorded prior to Sandusky’s trial.
